The Spanish Rectors’ Conference (CRUE) and its science-outreach network RedDivulga invite doctoral candidates—and new doctors who defended in the last 12 months—to explain their research in a BlueSky thread. The aim is to make cutting-edge work understandable and engaging for society at large.
Call open · 3 – 17 June 2025
Who can take part?
- Anyone currently enrolled in a PhD programme.
- Graduates who defended their thesis after 17 June 2024.
How to participate
- Between 00:00 CEST on 3 June and 23:59 CEST on 17 June 2025, publish a BlueSky thread.
- The first post must contain the hashtag #HiloTesis and—if character space allows—tag:
@crueuniversidades.bsky.social@filarramendi.bsky.social@divulgauc3m.bsky.social(UC3M’s official outreach account)
- Complete the registration form once your thread is live: https://forms.cloud.microsoft/e/XSdPMELDza. Threads not registered, or registered after the deadline, will not be evaluated.
Tips & judging criteria
Entries are scored on clarity, creativity, and visual appeal. Judges look for concise language, effective use of images or video, and an accessible explanation of methods and results.
