Thesis Talk 2025 · Final Round

Thesis Talk is UC3M’s annual challenge that asks doctoral students to explain their thesis to a non-specialist audience in under four minutes with just one static slide. Admission is free until capacity is reached, and the session will be streamed live on YouTube (Thesis Talk 2025 Final).

Finalists

After reviewing 62 submissions, the jury has selected 15 presentations for the on-campus showdown, including the PhD in Aerospace Engineering student Yannick Sztamfater García with a talk entitled ““Satellites, a species at risk of extinction.

Awards

The jury will honour the three highest-scoring talks with cash prizes of €900, €600 and €300. uc3m.es
