Further efforts are required to address the gender imbalance among the University’s academic and research staff (PDI). Regarding doctoral programs, only 34,1% of the theses defended at UC3M during the 2023-2024 academic year were authored by women. In this context, UC3M is launching a call for departmental grants aimed at fostering gender equality within the University’s predoctoral community.
Description:
The UC3M announces a grant in the amount of 26.500 euros, per year, designed to fund female PhD candidates seeking to complete their doctoral theses in accordance with the ‘International Doctorate’ requirements.
Female candidates holding a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree (min. 300 ECTS) and who are currently enrolled in, have applied for admission to, or hold a positive admission report for a UC3M Aerospace Engineering PhD program, are invited to review the full call to ensure they meet all eligibility requirements.
If you are interested, we encourage you to review the research lines of the program to assess your interests and identify potential supervisors. Feel free to contact the Program Director, Manuel Soler (masolera@ing.uc3m.es), for further guidance.
